Skill description	Student is able to be care male perineal with correct method. The perineum is called the part that extends from the pubis to the anus anatomically and includes all the external genitalia and their muscles, fascia, vessels and nerves. The perineum is a region where microorganisms easily settle and multiply, as body secretions such as sweat and urine accumulate between the skin folds.

Description	Student is able to be care for the male perineum by using a towel, washcloth, protective cover, sponge soap, bathtub, and gloves.
Performance steps	1. The materials are prepared. 2. Hand hygiene is provided. 3. The patient is informed about the procedure. 4. It is checked whether the bed brakes are locked. 5. The patient bed is brought to a level that facilitates the work. 6. The bed borders on the side to be worked on are lowered. 7. Patient privacy is ensured. 8. The door to the patient's room is closed. 9. The curtain/screen is drawn. 10. The individual is asked if she needs evacuation. 11. Gloves are worn. 12. The upper bedding is collected at the foot of the bed, leaving only the sheet/bath towel on the patient. 13. The bottom clothes are removed so that the genital area of the patient is exposed. 14. Male patients are placed in the supine position. 15. A mattress cover is placed under the patient. 16. The dirty container is placed between the legs of the patient on the mattress cover. 17. 2/3 of the washing power is filled with warm water. 18. The temperature of the water is controlled by the patient. 19. The gauze pads to be used for cleaning the perineum are placed in the tub. 20. Part of the gauze is reserved for drying. 21. The penis is slightly raised and held lightly in its middle part. 22. If the patient is uncircumcised, the foreskin is pulled back to expose the glans penis. 23. It is wiped from the urethral meatus to the scrotum with gentle circular movements. 24. After wiping with the glans penis and penis stop, it is dried. 25. The foreskin is brought back to its original position. 26. The scrotum is slightly lifted and its anterior, lateral and posterior surfaces are cleaned with longitudinal movements with soapy water. 27. The process is continued until the scrotum is completely cleaned, rinsed and dried. 28. To clean the anal area, the patient is laid on his side. 29. The patient is covered so that only the anal region is exposed. 30. If there is fecal waste, it is wiped with toilet paper. 31. The buttocks and anus are soaped, wiped and dried from front to back until they are clean. 32. In the wiping process, the process is continued by using one side of the cloth. 33. Gloves are changed when dirty and new gloves are worn by washing hands. 34. Materials are collected. 35. Gloves are removed. 36. Hand hygiene is provided. 37. The patient is dressed in clean clothes. 38. The patient is given a comfortable position. 39. Operations and observations made are recorded.
