Social systems are made up of people. Social work deals with social systems such as client system, family system, ecosystem, etc. The systemic theory approach and the concept of social systems are applied in the practice of social work, for example, in systemic thinking in the analysis of the client's situation, in the components of such sociometric intervention tools as the genogram and the eco-map.
